Usually, when people are done with their work, they try to forget about that as soon as possible. I guess programmers are a different breed.
In my spare time, I’m always working on something new, trying out new technologies and ideas. Most of these pet-projects never see the light of day. However, they are still useful as they are a great sandbox to try out ideas in a real environment.
